Post-production includes all the steps and technical operations that take place after a shooting. At the sound level, it is the organization of all the operations that lead to the realization of the audio part of the production. Sound is an art that we are deeply passionate about! Through the creation of original sounds and atmospheres or through our attention to detail, we accompany you in your project until the final sound polishing of your work. STEREO MIXING & 5.1 SURROUND
Mixing audio for a film or a music production is an art in itself. It allows you to calibrate dialogues, ambiances, sound effects, different instruments with intelligence and creativity. It is a process in the movie sound mixing which all sources are taken in their raw state and where an assembly is created with a precise artistic direction. It is a question of harmony, volume, spatial organization of sound, dynamics and rhythms.
AMBIANCE DESIGN
The stage of creating the sound environment where we plan and create all the necessary sound effects to make credible or to reinforce a particular emotion in a scene. This work is done in concert with the music composition, a harmony emanates from the collaboration between the music and the soundscape. The sound designer then gives depth and professionalism to audiovisual productions.
AUDIO RESTORATION
Restoration is a crucial step of audio post, especially when sound recording on the set was not taking place in optimal conditions for various reasons. For example, a lack of adequate equipment, reverberation of a room or disturbing background noise (ventilation, crackling, rubbing of clothes). This step will allow you to adjust sound levels, work on dynamics, attenuate some frequencies and ultimately improve speech comprehension or make it more pleasant to listen to a dialogue in harmony with a soundtrack.
DIALOGUE EDITING
This step consists of organizing, cleaning and selecting the best shots on the set. It is a meticulous work where we replace some takes, where we prepare the material before the mixing stage regarding the choice of dialogues.
AMBISONIC MIXING
Virtual reality places the user at the center of a virtual environment where the sensory experience is recreated through the virtual interface. Increasingly making its place in the landscape of entertainment and immersive pedagogy, virtual reality requires a totally different approach than any other media, as the spatialization of sound objects is central and necessary to a successful and quality immersive experience.
With more than a hundred virtual reality video capsules to our credit, we have the expertise to assist you in the realization of your project, whether it is virtual reality, ambisonic mixing, augmented reality or 360° video.
SOUND DESIGN & FOLEY
The foley is the building of atmosphere and sound effects creation. In the context of the use of dubbing in cinema or animation production, this step is crucial and necessary in the elaboration of the sound environment which can only exist through the recreation of sounds. The passionate sound engineer will record sounds from the most unusual objects in order to recreate certain ambiances as efficiently as possible. Sound effects are used as much in post-production audio as in the creation of sound environments in the live performance field, which uses multimedia effects more than ever.
AUDIO EDITING
In sound editing, we assemble all the elements of sound design and dialogue editing in a harmonious way in relation to its context and the different elements of the audiovisual work.
