Fan Day is a fiction web series produced by the Institut national de l’image et du son (INIS) and directed by Sarah Toussaint-Léveillé. A social thriller that tackles the dehumanization of professional athletes through the culture of sports entertainment. When Chris M’Baya, an NBA player with a bad reputation, refuses to have his photo taken with a fan, Fan Day degenerates into a riot. Publicly blamed for the events as he struggles to escape the chaos and humiliation, Chris finds himself at the center of a controversy that alters his future forever.
