Location Sound

Introducing Demolition, a documentary series on Canal D in which we collaborated for the sound recording with Avanti Toast ! It was during the blitz of the Champlain bridge deconstruction that Matt Nantel was in the middle of the action with the filming team, day and night, managing the best possible sound recording under the circumstances of a large construction site.

The challenge was to ensure a good sound in the noise, but also to capture the conversations of the crew on the site from a good distance and also by recording on their walkys talkys.

Here is also the trailer of the documentary series that offers an incursion into the world of the largest demolition company in Canada. We follow the hectic daily life of its employees on different construction sites. They are always ready to take on the most surprising challenges!
