Location Sound – Audio Postproduction

In the 2023 season of En direct de l’univers, we had the privilege of collaborating on a few sound location recording with director Kevin de Laval, who was responsible for shooting the off-set segments with various guests who came to pay tribute to the guest of the week!

In particular, without naming them all, we’ve had the privilege of doing sound location for segments with Richard Séguin, the Synfonia Orchestra and also in a limousine with Kim Richardson! Matthieu Nantel provides sound recording for actors, singers and musicians, who are then broadcast on screen during the live show to play with the band.

As for the year-end review special, En direct du jour de l’an, we collaborated on a special sound post-production segment to bring Louis Bilodeau to life with artificial intelligence. With the agreement of the family and in concert with the production team, we recreated the voice of the famous Canadian evening host! It was a great experience to use AI in the service of an innovative TV concept. Here are a few images of the various projects below:
